Iraq E-Gate for Financial Services (SWITCH) is hiring a Senior Officer - Solutions Design in Baghdad (on-site, 5 workdays). Job Summary: Supports the Enterprise Architecture and Design Department in the development and documentation of technical solution designs for Switch-related initiatives in the issuing and/or acquiring context. Includes participating in discovery sessions with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify needs, and translate them into technical considerations. Contributes to the definition of architectural components, integration points, and technical specifications aligned with enterprise standards and project requirements. Main Responsibilities and Duties: - Prepare draft technical design documents based on business requirements received through PMO. - Attend discovery sessions with the business team to discuss and align requirements with technical feasibility. - Define solution flow, impacted systems, interfaces, dependencies, and scope of change. - Document key design requirements, including validation rules, error handling, traceability, logging, reconciliation, and security controls. - Coordinate design review comments with Integration, Online, Backoffice, Operations, and Information Security. - Support finalization of approved design documents and controlled design updates. - Validate in test environment that implemented solutions match the approved design and document deviations or exceptions. - Provide architecture support and clarifications during delivery without taking over implementation or full testing ownership. Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. - 5-7 years of relevant experience in solution design, systems analysis, application architecture, or integration. - Good understanding of APIs, interfaces, transaction flows, error handling, traceability, and logging. - Experience in card management systems, networks and schemes Visa/MC, agent/merchants' management systems, retail, installments/loans, local/international payments, banking & switching, digital banking, or enterprise transaction systems is essential. - Strong technical writing, coordination, and analytical skills.
