Olive Group (UK) Ltd is seeking an expatriate APT Second in Command (2IC) / Team Medic for security operations in Iraq. The role works an 8 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation, with 12-hour shifts and an on-call requirement outside duty hours. The successful candidate will report to the Team Leader. Essential requirements: Native English speaker with at least three years' military, armed police or equivalent service, including experience in challenging environments and command and control. A formal close protection qualification from an accredited provider, mapped at minimum to UK Level 3 standards, plus an SIA licence or national equivalent. An internationally recognised NCO or comparable leadership course, such as the British Army Section Commanders Battle Course. A recognised medical trauma qualification at Level 3 or above, such as FPOS Intermediate or FREC 3. A valid driving licence, MOI and company ID cards. Iraq experience: One year is expected; candidates with less experience may be considered case by case, subject to client approval. The role supports the Team Leader, assumes TL duties when required, and ensures the team's medical equipment is serviceable, in date and adequately stocked. Pay: USD day rate, discussed at interview.
